My wonderful girls!

Snow is finally here (a little bit for now anyway ;) Panda visited for a couple of days and we had soo much fun ;)
Roxy is getting bigger and now she's 18.8 kg (41,5 lbs) Still the perfect size!! Both girls are enjoying their walks and training this fall, and they are doing really well. Nila and I had our last agility trial at the end of November. Didn't go too great, but we had fun! It all starts up again in January ;) Can't wait!!

A Wonderful Day!

Spent the day at home, writing my outline for a paper, translating "Candy's Man" and walking Roxy in this WONDERFUL weather we had today!! Blue skies, sun and nice, brisk air ;)

Roxy got to go on the walk alone today since me and Nila had agility this evening ;)

Roxy is such a delight to walk. She runs free, has sooo much fun with basically nothing ;) and comes like a rocket when I call her :P Good little puppy!! What an easy dog...can't believe how lucky I got finding her!!! YAHOO!!

Took some pics with my cell and thought I'd add them on here =)

Nite nite!

Obedience training with Nila

Last Saturday, me, Nila, Anja and Tinka went to Ås to do some training. January is coming up fast and we want to compete for 1st prize in Obedience level 2. We have already gaind the level 3 advancement, but by only half a point. We want it by faaaar more than that ;) We did well on level 1 but never did that well on level 2 so we dropped it and started agility instead. Now we're back and want to excel in obedience (again) ;P *haha*

Here is a little video from that Saturday. The captions are in Norwegian, but they don't say much anyway, so don't be sad if you're not a reader of norwegian :P Oh, and btw, the stylish hat is me dressing up for training. It was, after all, a SATURDAY!! ;)
Enjoy!

Road Trip!

Me and Marianne and the four dogs, Nila, Roxy, Sessa and Vikki, have just come back from a 5200 km tour of Norway. That's 3230 miles ;P We went all the way from Oslo north to were Ingrid lives, Skjervøy. We were on the road for 18 days and had a great trip!! We saw a moskus, sea hawks, pat some wolfs a Polar Zoo in Bardu (FUN!) They are 13 months old and socialized =)
We've been on an endles amount of mountain walks with the dogs, and they did really well. This trip was the first time ever for me and my dogs on real mountain walks!! Loved it! The dogs did too!
I took about 1600 pics and here are some of the best ones: O'Store Tur
(meaning: The Great Trip ;)

Roxy turned 6 months today. She has grown soo much, 15.1 kilos now ---> 33.3 pounds =) Soo thin, but sooo much energy. She is a joy to work with and I know she'll do great in anything I train her! We have started with trix and obidience and some agility. We will concentrate on obidience to start with. Can't wait to start competing again. Nila will also be trained in obidience again this fall I think. I will also see if I can't get a Freestyle Dance number together with Nila. Marianne has inspired me and we might try that ;P FUN!!!

Please leave a comment if you read something you like or if you want more of something :D

My first english post!

I wanted to have a place where my wonderful american friends could stay updated about me and my doggis and their training.
This is going to be that place ;)

I will try and blog as much here as in my Norwegian one =)
Here are some pictures from our weekend in Toten (were Anders's family live).
Loads of fun and long walks.
This walk was with the lab Leo and the German Shepherd, Varg (strong, Norwegian name ;)

We walked for about 2.5 hours on Friday when we first came up there, and about 3 hours on Saturday. On Sunday Anders had invited me to a family thing (the confirmation of his cousine, Sindre). I got to take the girls out for about half an hour and show them off ;) Love that!!
Here are some photos from the weekend:
